Damage by Natasha Knight – Summary + Review

We’re a match made in hell, Stefan and I.

He took me to exact his revenge. I went from being a pawn to my father to being a pawn to Stefan. The only difference is I have a ring the size of a boulder on my finger and a husband I don’t want.

And the hardest part is I thought he was different. I thought I was falling in love.

I guess my father was right. I’m not a very smart girl.

Stefan is a powerful man. He doesn’t play nice, not if you’re his enemy. But I’ve learned one thing about my husband.

He takes care of what’s his.

And I am his.

His enemies have become my enemies, but he’ll never let anyone hurt me. He’s fiercely protective. It’s the predator inside that scares me.

Damage Teaser 3

The cliffhanger in book 1 almost killed me, but all was right in the world after Book 2! It always amazes me the richness of Knight’s characters, the trauma they’ve endured, and how gripping the story. Each and every time! Nothing ever feels contrived, only right (no matter how painful).

Damage was my favorite of hers so far. There was something so poetic and beautiful about their love story and intense love scenes. Also, they were so raw and honest about how broken they were. They didn’t run from it. Writing wise, Knight shines in these moments.

Love Stefan and Gabriela (his dominance and her secrets), love Rafa (is his book next?), and even Clara and that whole twisted scenario. (I would be interested in a novella about her and her relationship with her cousins… Just putting it out there in case anyone else agrees!)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I bow down to you, Natasha Knight!
5 stars.

And how gorgeous is this cover!?! Love!
